This yellow house is on a street where I used to live. When I was five years old, I moved away from my house on Mount Desert Island, a national park off the coast of Maine. Though this particular house was not mine, it still acts as a symbolic structure that encapsulates how I view MDI. An old structure, taken back from Mother Nature, but has the nostalgic feeling that will never go away.
